Roasted Pig
One of the foods that Filipinos love to eat is the lechon. It is hog to the Americans. The lechon is a pig cooked roasted for several hours on flaming charcoals while being coated with red sauce to have a reddish color when cooked and delicious in taste. Most Filipinos like the smaller pigs or the "suckling pigs" popularly known as "lechon de leche." That’s because of its tenderness, sweetness and crispy crunch tastes when roasted. Lechon is found on the Filipinos dining tables every occasion be it special or simple celebration, with other popular filipino foods. In every celebration its usually the lechon on the table that goes out fast than the other foods because the lechon really tastes good.
