Have you ever been in Atlanta, Georgia before? If you ask me, I was there about a month ago. I and my family had an Atlanta tours. It was really a great vacation because we visited a lot of places there. Among the ten places we have visited, I only have few favorites. These are the Six Flags, Atlantic Station, Buckhead, World of Coke and Underground Atlanta. These tourist spots are awesome. I wish we have enough time to stay there. Since Georgia is only 4 hours drive from my city, we are planning to go back anytime this year. I like the Centennial Olympic Park because you can see anything in the city. There is a ton of cool things to do in Atlanta.

Anyway, this coming October, I will be in New York City. This is my first visit in NYC and definitely, I want to visit the Top of the Rock. This is one of the popular tourist spot in NYC. While you are on the top, you find the best skyline views. You will see the Central Park and the Statue of Liberty. By the way, I found all of this information from online travel guides. Carnival

My father visited again my siblings. Oh! I envy them. My sister told me that they went to the Fiesta Carnival with my father. They have octopus ride, roller coaster, ferris wheel. They started from the difficult ride to the easiest. They also visited the Wall of death. Wow! A lot of people visited the carnival. Just imagine the long line waiting for their turn to experience the rides during fiesta. The last time our father brought us to the carnival was when we’re still studying.

Days Names

Whoever invented the names of the days of the week? It was always a wonder to me why the days of the week are always repeating. I asked myself and if anyone invented the names of days, why is it that the names are only from Mondays until Sunday? Didn’t the inventor of the names of days never thought of any other names except naming them Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday? How boring!

Comfortable Travel Blanket

I didn’t know that airlines are not providing pillows and blankets anymore. Yikes, they already rise up the price of the ticket and passengers will pay extra for luggage too. I think that’s not fair. How can we survive is there are no blankets? The nature of my job is travel a lot. It makes me sad to know about these issues. We know how cold inside the airplane, it’s very cold. So, I am planning to buy a travel blanket and pillow that I can carry on while inside the plane. I went three different stores in my area but I didn’t any. I also tried to search on the internet but I didn’t find the one that I’ve been looking for.

Then tonight, I have visited at cabincuddler.com. This website is selling travel blanket that fold into a pillow case. The Cabin Cuddler is amazing because it inflates easily and it covers the whole part of our body. It helps you to keep you warm. Wow! This is what I like; it is convenient for carry on because it’s lightweight. I will surely buy for two or three blankets from them. This is perfect for our family vacation on November and we will be in the plane for 23 hours.

Father of Twin Boys

The Latin superstar Ricky Martin is now a father of twin boys via a surrogate mother who gave birth to the children a few weeks ago. He was so elated for the new chapter of his life as a father and said that he will be out of the public spotlight for the rest of the year. Behind this controversial issue is a deeper controversy that leads people to question Martin’s sexual preference.

Financial Nightmare

When it comes to my financial situation, I am not financially stable. I don’t have enough money to support my family. I still have monthly student loan that I’ve been paying and I still have 12 years to pay for that. In 1993, I had no other choice on how to pay my bills. The company that I been working was losing. So, all of the employees were unemployment because the company cannot afford to continue their business. During that time, I was a student and I have a lot bills. Since, I can’t pay my debts and bills; I decided to declare a bankruptcy. During the first three years of bankruptcy, my life was miserable. I can’t apply for credit card and even for loans.

Anyway, if you don’t to happen like this, please consider the Debt consolidation from bills.com. Through this, you can save money and stay away from trouble. At bills.com, you can also find way to lower the interest rates because they provide Debt help. If you can, please avoid a bad credit. Before making a decision about your financial situation, I would suggest you have to consult the expert and ask ehlp for Debt relief.

Oh before I forget, don’t forget to check if you are financially fit, just take the Bills IQ survey.

Where Cab is King

I have heard a lot about Napa Valley . A lot of my friends say that the place has her Cabaret Sauvignon. It is bold with flavor and they say, it is no longer the poor relative of the Cabs for Bordeaux . I have a friend who went there a month ago with her boyfriend who was a wine lover. And she said that Napa Valley is really perfect for lovers who want to have a romantic sojourn to the countryside. The perfect choice for wine critiques and wine lovers. With my friends’ testimonies, I am now planning to have my way to Napa Valley if I got the chance. Just to marvel at the beautiful scenery of the Napa Valley .

A Tale of Two Slaves

Spartacus is not just a film legend but a historical figure. Historians say that he was likely a Roman soldier who deserted, was recaptured, and sold into slavery as a gladiator.

While at the gladiatorial school at Capua , Spartacus led a rebellion. This act of defiance attracted massive numbers of slaves, growing to an estimated 70,000. Initially, Spartacus’ slave army enjoyed spectacular victories. But they were eventually defeated, and the captured rebels were crucified along the road to Rome .

Difficult Days

We buried my friend’s father 2 days before Thanksgiving, and every year the holiday is tinged with the sorrow of losing him. No doubt our calendar contains some of these difficult days that roll around once a year, bringing fresh reminders of losses that still hurt and people you still miss. A Wall Street Journal article calls these dates “emotional land mines” and says they may be even more difficult to face when they coincide with national holidays or anniversaries of significant events.

Grief counselors point out that taking a positive step can help us deal with grief. One year we planted a tree to mark the anniversary of a parent’s death and the birth of a grandson on the same day. A scholarship fund or a memorial gift can benefit others while honoring the memory of a loved one.

Reach Out to The Young

My friend, Dahlia didn’t like the neighbor woman Suzanne, but she still knocked at her door frequently. She was an unhappy 8-year old who seemed to enjoy mocking people. Most of their conversations ended with Suzanne telling her that she needed to go home.

Suzanne didn’t like Dahlia, but she knew the little girl had reasons for her attitude—living in poverty, having no father in her life, and being neglected by her mother. So Suzanne tried so much to love Dahlia. She began greeting her with a smile and showing an interest in her life. Dahlia gradually warmed up to her and they became friends.

Let Go!

A 14-year–old boy in our hometown refused to stop playing his Nintendo Game Boy during school hours. The principal was called in and he still refused to stop. When the school liaison officer tried to search him, the teen kicked and punched him. The police were summoned, yet the boy adamantly resisted. Only after the officers gave him two shocks from a Taser gun were they able to remove the toy from him. He was uninjured, but one officer was bitten by the boy.

The Miracle of Marriage

When the priest performed the wedding ceremony for my husband and me, he emphasized that we were participating in a miracle. We believed him, but we didn’t comprehend the size of the miracle needed to hold two people together, much less become one.

After 20 years, I realize that the marriage, not the wedding, was the real miracle. Anyone can have a wedding but only God can create a marriage.

One definition of wed is to “cause to adhere devotedly or stubbornly”. For some couples, “stubborn” is a more accurate description of their relationship than “devoted”.

Powerless

Being in control or in-charge is my idea of having power. I may be a Christian, but in the area of my life, work, career or future, I take pride that I’m my own master. I’ve been mastering this craft for quite some time now. Actually, I have already become comfortable with it. And I’ve been so used with this set up that I think this is His will for me.

Until one day. Things were getting out-of-hand. The comfort that I’ve enormously enjoyed was drifting within my very hands. That was then that I realized that we are indeed powerless in and of ourselves. Powerless is not weakness, it is in fact, the first step to recovery and wholeness.

Foie Gras in Two ways

Foie Gras, to me, is one of those things that scream richness and luxury. The first “way” was a light mousse rolled in pistachio nuts. Nice but I’ve had it before. The second “way” was probably the wow factor, though it’s still the classic seared foie gras, topped with the usual caramelized fruit with a balsamic vinegar reduction. But it was added with a dollop of peach jelly on the side and topped with caviar. We are always used to foie gras being paired with something on the sweet side, but this combination of sweet and salty worked just as well.

A Great Mystery

Many people love mysteries. It’s exciting to put ourselves in the shoes of a detective and try to figure out “whodunit” as we turn the pages of a mystery novel. But there’s a cliffhanger that we’ll never resolve—until we experience it ourselves.

Those of us who have watched in sadness as someone close to us has died may wonder about their new existence. Our hearts ache to know what they are doing or where they are. But for now, a veil separates us from our loved ones and we cannot see behind it.

Roasted Pig

One of the foods that Filipinos love to eat is the lechon. It is hog to the Americans. The lechon is a pig cooked roasted for several hours on flaming charcoals while being coated with red sauce to have a reddish color when cooked and delicious in taste. Most Filipinos like the smaller pigs or the "suckling pigs" popularly known as "lechon de leche." That’s because of its tenderness, sweetness and crispy crunch tastes when roasted. Lechon is found on the Filipinos dining tables every occasion be it special or simple celebration, with other popular filipino foods. In every celebration its usually the lechon on the table that goes out fast than the other foods because the lechon really tastes good.

Our city's feast day is celebrated in the middle of every year. There are lots of city's festivities to see like the long running Miss Beauty contest, and the city's colorful, much awaited parade. One of the participating contingents in the parade are the policemen with their crisp brown uniforms policemen in their mid forties and up no younger policemen they are almost two battalions of policemen participating the parade but ironic because on ordinary days you hardly can find a single policeman in the streets. Married Women Get Fat Easily Than Married Men

Let me say in general, almost women who have got married and have children are suffering from weight gaining. Now, I have a question, is it true that married women get fat easily than married men? Not all I guess because what if the woman’s nature of her personality is she works hard and exercise is part of her routine. This is a case to case basis. If the woman gave birth before 40 at her age, then she still have the time to fight those fats after her pregnancy but if she gave birth after 40, I guess it is harder for her to lose weight. For some reason, when we reach to 30 and up, our metabolism is getting slower.

Anyway, I myself suffered from getting fatter and fatter. There are a lots of diet pills nowadays and I have tried those but it seems like its not working. But I have found today, I read about reviews from pricesexposed.net about the Best Diet Pill. I will give it a try and I hope one of these diet pills will work for me. I stopped counting of the pills that I have tried. It’s a lot, I think more than 5 different kinds of diet pills but I didn’t lose weight. But I am convinced about the reviews from pricesexposed.net. At this website, you can find a lot of information about diet pills. They have rated from top 1 to 10 of the Best Diet Pills in the market.

Take note, if you are a woman; remember you gain weight easier due to hormonal issues. Women are emotional and can create stress. So, stress increases of weight gaining. But don’t worry, we can still prevent of being fat. Just take diet pills and exercise. These two combinations are good.

On Medication

Are you following the dosage of your medication? Are you taking them religiously? Are you taking the right medication? We drink medications to cure or treat variety of diseases or what causes/symptoms of our sickness. We must admit that sometimes when we already feel well we tend to stop taking our medicines. This should not be the case especially if it is your maintenance drug in treatment of your illness. And remember always to ask the purpose of your medicine and its side effects, must know the name and strength of your prescription drug, direction for use, and know what activity you should avoid during the treatment.
