Abortion, especially when it is performed because the pregnancy is unwanted, is an inconvenience to the mother, or is not a legitimate one, has always struck me not just as a selfish act, but as a “self-full” one. What I mean is that is speaks only of concern for the self and a total disregard for the other life… that of the innocent child’s. In no other way is lack of love for another more blatant that in abortion.
