insurance marketing

An old friend of mine who works in an insurance marketing kept pestering me about the insurance he wants to sell. I tried to hide from him every time he calls in the office and in our house. He really tried so hard to convince and persuade me to get a life insurance for security reasons. Unfortunately, I am apprehensive about it since I have had few insurances of some sort which I wasn't able to receive the benefits due me since the companies had closed its business operation due to economic crisis.
