Mindanao, Philippines has been experiencing rotating brownouts for 5 hours a day for almost one month already. This situation has greatly affected the offices and businesses in the area. It was even in the news tonight that employment will also be affected because some companies are planning to implement flexible schedule with their employees. An employee’s number of working hours will be lessen because they cannot work full time because there is no electricity for 5 hours daily.
